Scheduling & Cancelations

What is your cancelation policy?
Clients are required to cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee. If cancellations are made with less than 24 hours' notice or if a session is missed without notice, you will be responsible for the full session fee, regardless of attendance. Exceptions for emergencies or extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but this policy will be strictly enforced to ensure consistency and fairness for all clients.
Additionally, you may always choose to reschedule and/or take sessions virtually to accommodate occasional scheduling conflicts as often as needed. Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability in the client portal, which may be limited.
Are sessions weekly or bi-weekly?
The frequency of sessions depends entirely on your individual clinical needs. Some clients may benefit from regular monthly sessions, while others may require more or less frequent appointments based on their progress and goals. We'll discuss your specific needs together and make a decision that supports your mental health journey. Each treatment plan is personalized, and session frequency is determined on a case-by-case basis to ensure you receive the most appropriate care. Current and former clients will have the opportunity to continue or return and schedule sessions on an as-needed needed basis, once we have already established a certain amount of time together. To discuss the right cadence for you, set up a free consultation.

IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL THERAPY OPTIONS
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
I offer options for both in-person therapy in Fresno, CA and virtual sessions throughout California. For availability for each, please see above.
OUT-OF-NETWORK THERAPY OPTIONS
Do you take insurance? What if I have a PPO?
As a private pay therapist, I do not accept insurance. However, I am happy to provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement if you have Out-of-Network (OON) benefits, such as through a PPO. To ensure you understand your options, I recommend contacting your insurance provider ahead of time to confirm what reimbursement benefits may be available to you.
